ALLISON TORNEROS PRESENTS HUEMAN NATURE AT DESIGN MATTERS TOMORROW
Watching Think Tank resident artist Allison Torneros (AKA Hueman Nature) work like a crazy person over the last couple of months, we couldn’t be more excited about her upcoming solo show at Design Matters tomorrow evening. The show will display the artist’s envied style, all-at-once nostalgic, ethereal, light and imposing. Her newest body of work tackles issues of duality in what has been a hectic year for the designer-cum-painter, and travels from graffiti to science, pain to pleasure and back again. With a mixture of spontaneity and meticulousness unique to her style, one can expect the “dreamscapes” to pop off the surface of the paintings and directly into viewers’ imaginations, as Allison’s work is often said to do.
